Can a female lion successfully raise a brocade leopard?

It can, and it has also happened!

This lioness adopted an abandoned leopard cub and raised it with her other lion cubs. First time ever!

Sadly the little leopard died in young age so we won’t be able to see a lion pride with an adult leopard being part of it and maybe mating with lions.

That could have been the first time for a hybrid between these two majestic big cats to exist in nature and not just in captivity!

By the way, this would never happen, a lion pride would never accept a leopard in their pack, and a lioness would never adopt a leopard cub in the wild.

This was an exceptional case that happens probably 2 times in 1000 years since lions and leopards are natural enemies and will kill each other to eliminate competition given the opportunity
