The Kansas City Chiefs have signed wide receiver Xavier Worthy to his rookie contract, according to multiple reports.
The team’s first-round pick from the 2024 NFL Draft has signed a four-year, fully guaranteed deal worth $13.8 million, including a signing bonus of $6.85 million. In 2024, his cap hit is expected to be $2.5 million.
The #Chiefs have signed WR Xavier Worthy to his 4 year, $13.79M fully guaranteed rookie contract.
The deal carries a $2.5M cap hit in 2024, meaning KC’s Top 3 Wide Receivers (Brown, Rice, Worthy) combine for just $12.1M against their cap this season.https://t.co/XM9BcNZMXf

Worthy is the last player of the Chiefs’ draft class to be signed to his rookie deal. The team’s second-round pick — offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia — was signed in mid-May. The other five players in the 2024 class — tight end Jared Wiley and defensive back Jaden Hicks from the fourth round, offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad from the fifth round, defensive back Kamal Hadden from the sixth and offensive lineman C.J. Hanson from the seventh — were signed on May 15.
With 91 players under contract — including offensive tackle Chukwuebuka Godrick, who has an International Player Pathway roster exemption — the team now has a full complement of 90 players on its active roster. Including all known transactions, we estimate that Kansas City has $13.1 million in cap space.
Worthy has spent the first two open media sessions of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) on the field but without a helmet due to a hamstring injury. The next open look at voluntary workouts is scheduled for Thursday morning, leading into three days of mandatory minicamp next week.
We’ll see if Worthy takes the field on Thursday.
