Miami Dolphins add former Atlanta Falcons fourth-round pick Sean Harlow to the offensive line
The Miami Dolphins are shuffling the deck at offensive line less than a week before the NFL Preseason begins at home against the Atlanta Falcons. The team signed former fourth-round pick Sean Harlow and waived offensive lineman Ireland Brown on Saturday.
Harlow, 29, was drafted by the Falcons in 2017 and has spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys. He played 16 snaps with the Giants last season after surrendering two sacks across 228 snaps at center (148) and guard (75) for the Cardinals in 2022.
Harlow has been called for 18 quarterback hurries and three sacks throughout 41 career games, which includes five starts. Given recent snapping struggles from the backups, he could carve out a role as depth at center.
Brown, who primarily played center for four seasons at Rutgers, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted college free agent on May 14. With Brown and Jack Driscoll struggling with snaps, Harlow could be Miami’s last line of defense before moving Liam Eichenberg back to center.
