The 36-year-old superstar removed âguard for the Warriorsâ from his bio and replaced it with âOlympic gold medalistâ shortly after the closing ceremonies in Paris.
Immediately â because this is the internet â rumors sprung up regarding Curryâs loyalty to the Golden State Warriors, the franchise who drafted him over fifteen years ago. Fortunately for Warriors fans, Steph isnât going anywhere.
âIâm just proud to be an Olympian,â Steph told Emily Chang, the host of Bloombergâs âThe Circuit,â this week during a round of golf.

To the dismay of Warriors haters around the globe, Steph will not be leaving the Bay anytime soon. And despite what we might think, people can be many things outside of what they list in their Instagram bios, which can only contain up to 150 characters, after all. Steph Curry, in addition to being a believer, a husband, a father, a philanthropist, and an Olympic gold medalist, is still the Warriorsâ superstar point guard.
If you did happen to panic over an Instagram bio, donât worry â Steph recently signed a one-year, $62.6 million extension, keeping him in the Bay through the 2026-27 NBA season. Heâs not going anywhere.
