Steph Curry has a new job at home with Olympics looming

Steph Curry is a basketball icon and his time in the league is viewed as one of the greatest individual careers of all time.

However, the expectations placed upon him during the months of an NBA season are sizable, and it would be understandable if he was to treat the offseason as a time to recharge his batteries.

Yet, in 2024 this is not the avenue down which Curry has elected to stroll. He is, instead, playing the role of house-husband as a way of supporting his wife, Ayesha, before he leaves for the Paris Olympics later in the summer.

Stephen Curry is trying to be a supportive husband

Steph Curry is renowned not only as one of the greatest point guards but also as a devoted husband and family man. He skillfully balances his time between family and profession, as seen recently at the USAB Olympics training camp.

Despite the rigorous preparations for the Olympic experience in Las Vegas, Steph found time to support his wife’s restaurant business.

In a recently posted video on social media, Curry is seen greeting fans and signing jerseys, magazines, and shoes before he responded to a fan’s question about Ayesha‘s restaurant by recommending the Korean BBQ short ribs without hesitation.

International Smoke currently has two outlets in San Francisco and Las Vegas, but it previously had branches in Hawaii and Houston.

The Hawaii location closed during the pandemic and did not reopen. The Houston branch faced backlash when news of its opening surfaced in 2018, following the Rockets’ defeat to the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

Steph defended Ayesha‘s business on social media.

“Hey @ayeshacurry. Guess I’ll have @EatAtSmoke in Houston 2 Myself twice next year,” he posted.

Steph’s recent restaurant recommendation reflects his ongoing support for Ayesha‘s livelihood.

Despite leaving his newborn child and wife behind, Curry remains focused on his duties with the national team for the upcoming Olympics.
