The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Chris Wormley. Baltimore originally drafted Wormley out of Michigan in the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Ravens before they traded him to the Steelers for a day-three pick.

Wormley, 30, spent all of the 2023 season with the Carolina Panthers. He was originally signed to their practice squad but was elevated to the active roster after four weeks on the practice squad. Wormley played in five games and recorded one tackle.

The best season of Wormley’s career came with the Steelers in 2021. He started 14 games and recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks. His 2022 was ended early after suffering a torn ACL, and that knocked out a chunk of the 2023 season for the veteran defensive lineman.

Wormley, who worked out for the Ravens on Monday, will bring quality run defense to the unit. The Ravens are 0-2 after falling to the Las Vegas Raiders 26-23 on Sunday.
