Analyst Details How Good LeBron James Has Been Since February

LeBron James wasn’t able to power his Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals last season but he was still doing stellar work for the team.

Speaking on his show, via The Volume, NBA analyst Jason Timpf said James has been one of the best players in the league since February.

Timpf noted that James averaged 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists on 58% from the field and 45% from the three-point line for the last portion of the season.

Stating “That’s MVP-level production,” Timpf added that James was a “Swiss Army Knife” during the Olympics and won MVP with Team USA.

Aside from Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic, Timpf said James has been “better than everyone else in the league since February.”

At this point, it looks like nothing will slow James down.

Even though he is getting close to being 40 years old, he is still the most impactful player for his team and is one of the best stars in the league.

James was in great shape for nearly all of the 2023-24 season.

In fact, it was the healthiest he had been in a few years and he was still making plays, shutting down opponents, and leading his team with great skill and ease.

For the season, James averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game, shooting 54% from the field and 41% from beyond the three-point line.

Those are strong numbers for anyone but especially someone in their 21st season.

James did incredibly well but still didn’t have much to show for it because the Lakers were eliminated in the opening round of the playoffs.
