BREAKING: Pro Bowl DE Calais Campbell expected to sign with Miami Dolphins in free agenct
The Miami Dolphins can never be discounted from making a big splash in free agency, and few splashes are as big as this one.
As per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, 6x Pro Bowl DE Calais Campbell is expected to sign with the Dolphins as a free agent.

Campbell, 37, spent all of the 2023 NFL season with the Atlanta Falcons, starting all 17 regular season games. In those games, he recorded 6.5 sacks, 17 quarterback hits, 10 tackles-for-loss, and 56 total tackles.
Totally normal numbers for a defensive end in Year 16, of course.
Then again, Campbell is anything but normal.
After being drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2008, Campbell went on to to make six Pro Bowls, managed one All-Pro selected, and was selected to the NFL HOF All-2010’s team.
Even at 37, Campbell has a lot of gas left in the tank, and will bring much needed experience and quality to a defensive line that saw Christian Wilkins depart in free agency. Likely to start alongside the ever underrated Zach Sieler in the trenches, the Dolphins defensive line suddenly looks promising again.
The finances of the deal are currently unclear, but we will update you as the numbers come in.
