Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had to testify about the ongoing legal matter regarding the Sunday NFL Ticket product. The trial is an important one for fans who aren’t in the local market of their favorite team. It seeks to break up the one-size-fits all package and potentially allow fans to purchase a team, a week or even each individual game. In response, Jones said that would be a financial windfall for a team like his, and detrimental to a less popular team like the Bengals.

Ouch.

A year later, TE Jake Ferguson is clearly the starter and the second-round pick used last season on Luke Schoonmaker probably makes him the leader for the backup job. With pocket knife-like versatility behind them, the battle for the remaining spots will be a great training camp battle.
