Dallas‘ schedule has dropped — find out the opponents here

Cowboys Schedule 2024: What is the Dallas Cowboys' schedule for the 2024-25 season?

The Dallas Cowboys are annually one of the NFL‘s most-talked about teams — and their recent regular-season success has led many to beg them as a Super Bowl contender over the past few years. However, the Cowboys have yet to make the leap from dominant regular-season team to a true championship-caliber club — and the pressure has been ratcheted up for 2024.

The Cowboys will enter the season with a head coach (Mike McCarthy) and a starting quarterback (Dak Prescott) both into the last year of their respective contracts, while fans have been perplexed by owner Jerry Jones‘ reluctance to make big moves via trade or free agency — other than reuniting with running back Ezekiel Elliott on a one-year deal.

But Jones and the Cowboys’ brain trust have full faith in a deep roster that won the NFC East last season despite suffering through multiple injuries to key players like cornerback Trevon Diggs. Is this the year that PrescottElliottCeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons break through in the challenging NFC? Or does more disappointment await a team that has not won the Super Bowl since the 1995 season?

The Cowboys’ 2024 schedule

The Cowboys’ home slate for 2024 is as follows:

  • New York Giants
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Commanders
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • New Orleans Saints
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Detroit Lions
  • Houston Texans

Here are Dallas‘ opponents on the road for this coming season:

  • New York Giants
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Commanders
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • San Francisco 49ers

Nine of the Cowboys’ 17 regular-season games in 2024 will be against 2023 playoff teams — including the home matchup with Houston, a young team on the rise that is battling for supremacy in the state of Texas. Measuring-stick games against the 49ers in Santa Clara and against the Lions in Arlington could show how close — or how far — Dallas is from true Super Bowl contention. The Ravens‘ visit to AT&T Stadium could also be one of the most-anticipated games on the 2024 calendar.

But of course, the two matchups with the Eagles will be decisive in determining whether the Cowboys will successfully defend their division title…or whether they will cede it back to a Philadelphia team that appears much-improved on paper.
