Day 2 of Dolphins minicamp – Miami Dolphins News 6/6/24

June 6, 2024

The Miami Dolphins held their second practice of minicamp yesterday and for the second straight day, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle registered another solid practice. Waddle recently signed a new contract and has been running by defenders the past two days. It’s nice to see Waddle performing but that just means someone on the defense is being victimized and that is second year cornerback, Cam Smith. With Nik Needham and Kader Kohou both not practicing, Smith got more reps but unfortunately didn’t shine. Smith was in the doghouse last season under Vic Fangio and the second year player is looking forward to a fresh start under Anthony Weaver. The good news is that it is still early and Smith can clean up his game over the next couple of months. The Dolphins were supposed to have another practice today, but they have decided to cancel it.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
