This will mark the 12th consecutive season that the Warriors will play on Christmas Day, and the fifth overall that they will face off against James. They have a 6-5 record over the last 11 Christmas games, 2-2 against James.

They will, however, come into this game with Klay Thompson under contract for another team. He will instead face the Minnesota Timberwolves as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.

It’s worthy to note that in every Christmas Day game the Warriors have faced James, they’ve gone on to make the NBA Finals that very same season — a trend Warriors fans would love to continue.
