The Dolphins had been shut out of the NFL’s Top 100 list in 2024 – a list voted on by current NFL players – through the first 30 selections or so. Plenty of fans were wondering when a member of Miami’s squad would crack the countdown.

Well, good things come to those who wait, they say. On Wednesday, four Miami Dolphins were named to the Top 100 list – starting with left tackle Terron Armstead at #67.

Armstead actually climbed 16 spots from his 2023 ranking where he checked in at #83. When healthy, the soon-to-be 34-year-old is one of the most dominant offensive linemen in the National Football League, so if he can avoid the injury bug in 2024, get ready to see him jump even higher on next year’s list.

The next Miami Dolphins player to make the list was safety Jordan Poyer. Yes, Poyer played for the Buffalo Bills in 2023, but he’s on the right side of the battles for the upcoming season, this time dressing in the aqua and orange of Miami. Poyer’s standing slipped some – dropping from his #57 ranking the season prior to #65 on this year’s list.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was the next Dolphin to find a home on the NFL Top 100 list – checking in at #63. Injuries hampered Waddle’s 2023 campaign, so his ranking did fall a bit – down from #44 in 2023. Expect a huge season for the fifth year player, and with that, a higher ranking on next year’s list.

The final Miami Dolphins player to make the NFL Top 100 list so far is EDGE rusher Bradley Chubb. Chubb was not ranked on last year’s list, but checked in at #62 for this year’s countdown. Chubb was on pace for one of the best seasons of his career before being sidelined with a torn ACL at the end of the 2023 campaign. Once Chubb regains his health in 2024, he’ll look to continue terrorizing quarterbacks around the league.
