Hidden deep in the Peruvian Amazon is a huge face carved into a stone cliff.

The “face of Harakmbut” has been there as long as we can remember, but it is difficult to locate and access. It is of unknown origin and is found in the forests of the Amarakaeri Municipal Reserve, in the province of Manu, of the department of Mother of God, in south-eastern Peru. For the Harakmbut (indigenous Amazonian people) the face was sculpted by their ancestors and is not a natural product.

The Amazon forest is one of the places that has aroused the greatest curiosity in people, but unfortunately it has not been studied in depth. Although some of its areas remain virgin, because they have not been visited by researchers, it is hypothesized that it is full of enigmas.
