Lamar Jackson: Chiefs Are ‘Not My Kryptonite’

The Kansas City Chiefs got the best of the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the regular season, defeating them 27-20. After the game, Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson said in his postgame interview that the Chiefs don’t have his number, and that he can get the better of them eventually. “Not my kryptonite.” Jackson simply said. The last time the two teams faced, Lamar and the Ravens fell in the AFC Championship to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, as they were only able to score three points in the second half.

Jackson saying this is a very bold statement, as he has a 1-4 record against the Chiefs in his career. The Ravens have had plenty of chances against the reigning Super Bowl champions the last few seasons, but Lamar has only been able to get the best of Mahomes once back in 2021.
