The players have spoken, and for the first time during his prestigious eight-year NFL career, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill finds himself at the very top of the NFL Top-100 list. Hill becomes the eighth Miami Dolphins player to make the list, following in the footsteps of his teammates Terron Armstead (67), Jordan Poyer (65), Jaylen Waddle (63), Bradley Chubb (62), Raheem Mostert (60), Tua Tagovailoa (36), and Jalen Ramsey (#25).

For those who may forget, NFL Network’s Top-100 list is voted on by the players themselves.

So, this is kind of a big deal and an honor for the man they call Cheetah, who becomes the first Miami Dolphins player to finish at the top of the Top-100 list.

During his first year with the Dolphins, Hill ranked 7th according to his peers who were asked to vote. This was after the playmaking wide receiver finished the year with 119 catches for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns — a career-best in yards and receptions.

Flash forward a year later, and Hill led all receivers in football with 1,799 yards. More impressive is that he nearly doubled his touchdown production, scoring 13 times in 2023. His insane season made him the #1 rated receiver in Madden 25. And now, according to those who line up opposite of him, Hill is the best player in football. 1 of 1.

Hill, 30, hopes to land a contract extension with the Dolphins this offseason that will keep him around for the foreseeable future. Hill has been very vocal about his desire to remain in Miami, and it would be in both the team’s and players’ best interest to make that happen.

Still, for a player who was “hEADeD tO MiAmI To RETirE” alongside a quarterback many doubted, Hill has been everything the Dolphins have hoped for and more when they sent five draft picks to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for the unstoppable receiver.

Now, they have to do the one thing the team has been trying to accomplish since 2000, even if that means putting Megatron’s record on the back burner.

“I have to understand that the position that I’m in and me being one of the leaders and just singling out an individual goal like that — because I had time to go look at it and talk about it with my family; and that’s very selfish of me.”

Hill continued:::

“I would want us to, A: win a playoff game.“I would love that…Then, moving forward, continuing to build on that, we’re going to move to the Super Bowl. It’s one step at a time.”

Individual goals and Top-100 lists are nice, but as Hill said, the Dolphins need to win a playoff game. And for a team with so much talent and promise, there really are #NoMoreExcuses.
