Shaquille O’Neal’s hilarious admission on seeing Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki’s wife for the first time
The Dallas Mavericks went down 0-1 to the Boston Celtics after a disastrous Game 1 that saw Kyrie Irving held to just 12 points. Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki made headlines off the court recently when he engaged in a hilarious conversation with Shaquille O’Neal about the time ‘The Big Aristotle’ met his wife Jessica Olson for the first time.
The hilarious video came out amid an important Luka Doncic admission ahead of Game 2 in Boston. A Finals injury news bulletin on Doncic was also released.
O’Neal and Nowitzki shared more than a few laughs as they recounted the hilarious tale of Shaq’s initial impressions of Olson.
O’Neal, Nowitzki’s ‘cookout’ banter
O’Neal was asked when and how he found out the German NBA legend’s wife is black. O’Neal said he saw her while exiting an arena one time and admitted he took a liking to Olson, who has been married to Nowitzki since July 20, 2012.
O’Neal joked about the ‘gorgeous’ appearance of Nowitzki’s wife and about how Nowitzki ‘likes chocolate bars.’ Nowitzki joked about the sky-high amount of cookouts we was invited to after the NBA community found out his wife is black.
Mavericks prepping for Game 2 showdown
The Mavericks must play considerably better to have a chance to steal Game 2 on the road against the Celtics on Sunday night.
Irving’s performance underscored the Mavericks’ showing deficiencies in comparison to their high-octane, sudden rivals from the East. Luka Doncic scored over 30 points as per usual but the Mavericks’ supporting cast was underwhelming to say the least, as Kristaps Porzingis torched the Mavs defense en route to 18 points and a huge lead by halftime.
