There, you will find the most famous pyramids in the world, the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykrinus the only surviving structure of the famous seven wonders of the ancient world. Although they are not the only pyramids in Egypt, they are the most talked about and well- known among other pyramids all over the world and they are Egypt’s first tourist attraction. One cannot come to Egypt and miss them. They are located on a plateau on the west bank of the Nile River south Cairo, specifically in Giza. Those pyramids have charmed a lot of visitors throughout the years.

The First and the oldest Pyramid of them is the pyramid of King Khufu (Cheops in Greek)  the fourth Dynasty Pharaoh to serve as his tomb, the Immortal and Sky Grabber, close to its some alters, where the wood-made boats of Khufu are placed, which King Khufu would use to sail on his journey to immortality. Khufu ruled for 23 years, yet no much has been discovered of his reign beyond his pyramid that measures 146.5 meters in height decreasing to 138.8 meters, making it the largest pyramid in the world. The Pyramid was discovered by Sir Flinders Petrie. Next to it, there are three small pyramids built for Khufu’s queens.  Also, you will find the pyramid built by Khufu’s son Khafre (Chephren in Greek), who ruled from 2558 to 2532 BC and made his own smaller and shorter than his father’s pyramid; we can see Khafre’s face, engraved on a sheet of green diorite stone, so lively as if the artist just finished it.  This Pyramid was explored and re-explored multiple times. However, the first full exploration was considered to be done by Giovanni Belzoni on March 1818. Both Pyramids (Khufu’s and Khafre’s) show different designs and different used building materials, the thing that shows more development in the techniques of building used at that time.  Then, last but not least the pyramid of Menkaure (Mykrinus in Greek), who was like his father modest and decent enough to make his pyramid smaller than the other two. The Pyramid’s original height was 65.5 meters but decreased to 61 meters. Most of history’s famous versions claim that the pyramids were built by foreign slaves and they were forced into labor to finish the pyramids. However, some study shows that the skeletons that were excavated from this area probably belong to native Egyptian agricultural workers who devoted their lives to move those giant stones that each one of them weighs more than 03 tons. Those workmen used a piece of metal and an axe to strike the stone dividing it into many sections, so they could carry them. Lastly, the Great Sphinx, The guardian statue that was carved in limestone having the head of a man and the body of a loin that was built inside Khafre Pyramid complex. It measures 240 feet in length and 66 feet in height. The word “Sphinx” is a Greek word that means the picture of life in the ancient world. The Idea of combining the head of a man and the body of a loin symbolizes the combination of a loin’s strength and the intelligence of a king. The Sphinx severed as a spiritual guardian of the pyramids.

In one hour, the show would narrate the history of those great kings and queens, their life, legends and secrets of ancient history. The show is available with a variation of 10 different languages. It is dependent on your imagination and sound and light effects that will make chills run through your body.
