Stephen Curry proved why he’s not only the greatest shooter in the NBA but also in the entire game of basketball.

The Golden State Warriors star put on a show in the final two games of the Olympics, carrying Team USA to a big comeback vs. Serbia in the semi-final and then making sure to pull away from France in the gold medal matchup.

With that in mind, he addressed the fans shortly after leaving the podium, talking about how happy and humbled he was by taking home the gold.

Despite being the undisputed best point guard in the game for almost a decade now, this was Curry’s first — and potentially only — time as an Olympian.

He took a backseat in the group stage, with Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, and LeBron James shining in the first three matchups.

Then, he put the team on his shoulders and dominated in the clutch and from beyond the arc, even knocking down four three-pointers in the final two minutes of the tournament.

Steph Curry and Nikola Jokic both made a strong case for tournament MVP, but the distinction was eventually given to LeBron James.

The Warriors star has never lost a single game as a member of Team USA, and while he’s not getting any younger, he just proved that he’s still at the top of his game and could even run it back in Los Angeles in 2028 if they chose to bring him back.
