The Kansas City Chiefs duo of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were invited to play a round of golf by US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau over social media on Tuesday.

The exchange started with Mahomes posting ‘GREAT bunker shot!’ in reference to DeChambeau’s penultimate stroke of this past weekend’s major tournament at Pinehurst.

DeChambeau replied ‘You, me, and Trav Break 50, let’s go!’

‘Let’s do it! @tkelce,’ Mahomes replied on social media.

‘Break 50’ is a reference to playing from the red tees, which are always closer to the pin, on any golf course, as opposed to the full-length holes.

Kelce has not posted on social media about DeChambeau’s offer and Mahomes’ acceptance.

Both Kelce and Mahomes have proven to be golf aficionados in the past.

The Chiefs duo have both participated in ‘The Match’ in the past.

Mahomes teamed with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, losing to Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers in June 2022.

Kelce and Mahomes teamed up to defeat the Golden State Warriors duo of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson last June.

On Father’s Day, Kelce was pictured with Dustin Johnson, Wayne Gretzky, and Paulina Gretzky playing a round of golf in the United Kingdom.

DeChambeau won his second-ever major at the US Open, in part due to the late-hole collapse from rival Rory McIlroy.

DeChambeau also won the 2020 US Open, while Kelce and Mahomes have each won three Super Bowls.
